The Vocaloid family finally gets another member. Megurine Luka (巡音ルカ) is released today. And dozens of songs of her are already uploaded on Nico Nico Douga and YouTube. Even a Ranking of her songs is already uploaded at Nico Nico Douga. Luka was originally planned to be released last month at December, but she was […]
Yesterday night Crypton’s blog was updated with the concept of CV03. The concept of CV03 is going to be “巡り”, which would translate as “going around”, roughly. Hatsune Miku’s concept was 初, which means “first” and Kagamine Rin and Len’s concept was 鏡, which means “mirror”. So CV03’s last name is going to be 巡り音. […]
As the release of CV03 is coming near, I’d like to show some more demos of her voice. Crypton made this song bilingual, as in combining English and Japanese. So in this demo video, you can clearly hear how this VOCALOID would sing a song with both English and Japanese lyrics. I love this song […]
【ニコニコ動画】【鏡音リン】 オメデトウ 【生誕祭】 A few hours ago, トラボルタP (toraborutaP) uploaded a new song for Kagamine Rin, entitled “Congratulations”. I completely missed it when I was writing my previous post, but this is トラボルタP (torabutaP)’s present for Kagamine Rin and Len’s birthday. It was uploaded on 00:00 AM, by the way. The song itself is awesome. […]
Happy birthday Kagamine Rin and Len! Our favorite twin is having their birthday today! It’s an important date for me, since without them, I wouldn’t know about VOCALOID now. I’m pretty sure that when you think of the best song for Kagamine Rin and Len, it’d be Kokoro. Recently, iroha’s song “Meltdown” came out and […]
It’s been a while since my RSS feed for vocaloidism hasn’t been updated.. I’ve found a very interesting MMD video on niconicodouga showing Miku’s hidden talent of juggling versus the alter-tsundere-ego Akita Neru. 【ニコニコ動画】【MMD】 ジャグリング中のミクがネルに襲われる
To get a VOCALOID Song Album that are sold to the public, we’d usually have to import them from Japan. Now, we can get them easily from Amazon US or the iTunes Store. Chocolate Train by Penguins Project feat. 初音ミク is now available for purchase at Amazon.com for $1.98. And three VOCALOID albums, トラボティック・ワールド by […]
Seems like Crypton would not make its 2008 release of CV03, since the official website now said “2009年1月リリース予定” or “January 2009 Release”. Not much information and no demo was released. Crypton said that it was due to a problem in developing CV03. Anyways, sorry for being inactive in the past week everyone, since I was […]
Remember Typenist? That great online Hatsune Miku Typing game? Yep, that’s Typenist. Recently, it reached 60,000 playcount and 200 songs (and counting). Seems like Molokeiya-san is really serious in developing the game. It got out of the Alpha stage and is now on the Beta stage. Most of the VOCALOID song that you knew is […]
MikuMikuDance version 3.21 have been released, with bug fixes on the multi-modeling as well as a new 3D model for Akita Neru. Just click on the “MikuMikuDance (Multi-Model Edition)” […]
Hatsune Miku is racing on the Fuji Race Circuit with her itasha yesterday. Unfortunately, she was in the last place because she didn’t even participate in the previous races, due to technical difficulties. In the end, MOLA won the SUPER GT. You could view the ranking here. Kagamine Rin and Len participated in the SUPER […]
The December 2008 issue of the DTM magazine is out and as suspected, in the VOCALOID MANIACS section, is an article about the long-awaited CV03 by Crypton. The VOCALOID official information website still said “2008 Release”, but is it possible? There’s just one and a half month until the end of the year 2008. I […]
