Weekend Spotlight - They Don't Write 'Em

初恋終時 by sino

This week in Cryptically Titled Song Feature Column we celebrate a very popular holiday.  No, not that one.  I’m talking about Singles Awareness Day. Now, I won’t be participating in this holiday (for the first time since 200…7?) but I know some of you are.  Therefore, I waste your time today by highlighting some of your favorite break-up songs.

These were all suggested by Vocaforum members, so let’s see how they did.

Alysoun was quite helpful, giving me a couple of nice suggestions.  The first of which asks the question “Is there really such a thing as an unpopular ryo song?”

Alysoun also provided this Rin song that does exactly what it says on the tin.

Meepy was kind enough to provide the Nicolink on the thread, so I feel like I have to use it.

Bunnychan reminds us all to watch our angles.  Or something.  See what I did there?

And I guess I might as well that one really popular Vocaloid song that fits this week’s theme and was covered by rockleetist.

HA!  Fooled you!

Time to change the subject to something we all like, the Rankings.  We start on the Junior Circuit with a Ritsu hit that’s gotten out of the blocks fast.

It’s only been up since 11AM on Thursday, but it already has over 7,000 points.  In the other ranking, the re-uploaded of World’s End Umbrella continues to pound the competition, but Sevencolors is having none of that.

It’ll be interesing to see if Hachi’s hit will stay in the ranking.  I really hope it does, because you know what that’ll mean, right?  Nana vs. Hachi! FFFFUUUUUUUUU*shot*
