THIS WEEK IN HISTORY: (WVR#144)
This spot is for a look back at the VocaRan one year before. Here are the top five songs from that week.
In Other Vocaloid News:
That was this week’s #1!
This week, the new installment of a big series will be released. The album “EXIT TUNES PRESENTS Vocalonation” will feature a lot of popular songs, including “Nyanyanyanyanyanyanya!”, AKA NyanCat, which got 20 million views on Youtube. Released by EXIT TUNES on July 6.
It’s the album series that reached the top spot on the weekly Oricon charts, with its previous installments “Vocalonexus” and “Vocalogenesis”. Will it achieve the same results this time too?
Well then, the rest of this ranking, from #31.
Editor Picks of the week:
- 【初音ミク】sentimental swimmer【オリジナル】
- 【初音ミク】Rainy Reincarnation【オリジナル曲】
- 【鏡音リン×磯P】紫煙【オリジナル】 (Tobacco Smoke)
- 【初音ミク←】フロウフロウ【オリジナル】 (FlowFlow)
- 【GUMI】 君思ヲ 【オリジナル曲】
More minjta!
Nice upbeat song.
A lowww Rin that I just like.
Another song by ←P, and I love it.
A nice Vocarock song with GUMI. I just love the guitar work in this.
Final Thoughts/Analysis:
A great week, from GUMI to Vocarock, and a history that brings back great memories. Another great week in the vocaloid ranking!
For fairness I was going to link sunzriver’s Boring Bowling and Penguin Project’s Galopagos as EdPics, but they don’t seem to be out yet. Guess ZANEEDS/piperP were the only ones that cheated on their World Premiere. Seriously guys, look up the definition of World Premiere. Wasn’t AX special enough for you, or were you doing it especially to get into the Vocaran this week? *sigh*
…And so with that, we end this week’s Vocaloid Ranking review. Please join us again next week, and /me runs off now.
