Miku Miku ni Shiteageru Returns With Full Version

Miku Miku ni Shiteageru was one of Miku’s earliest hits, made within a month of the software’s release. Afterwards, the original producer, ika, along with MOSAIC.WAV, made a modified duet version of the song titled Minna Miku Miku ni Shiteageru for the Heartsnative album, which managed to hit number seven on the Oricon Daily charts. Now a full version has been produced by ika and MOSAIC.TUNE (apparently the new name for VOCALOID-centric MOSAIC.WAV activities), and the promotional video was uploaded onto niconico just a bit earlier, garnering over 100,000 views as of this article’s writing. The video was produced by MASATAKA (who had produced many MMD videos, including a video for a Microsoft developer conference), and he had enlisted the work of fans to redraw frames of the MMD animation for the chorus. The song is the top batter for the new Heartsnative2 album, which also contains arranged versions of various other popular VOCALOID songs. Lastly, the most recent issue of the mook Gianism has a feature on this new album, and it supposedly has shots of the crowd-sourced stills for people who agreed to be featured in it.

  1. I’m at a loss for words on how awesome this is … Collaboration with fans and fellow artists are the best!

  2. That’s an amazing creation and I love the tribute Masataka did to the illustrators and MMD designers.
